Home of the RIVER CITY BIKE WEEK, MUSIC FESTIVAL & SWAP MEET

Started in 2009 this event takes place the last week of August and includes not only a week-ending music festival in downtown Wheeling, WV but ecompasses events in the surrounding area. River City Restaurant and Banquet Facility are the primary sponsors and as you view these pages you will undoubtedly recognize numerous other sponsors who have helped to bring live local music and motorcyclists together for a week of fun and frolic with a good dash of civility.

Why is this site called EXIT ZERO you might ask and the answer is simply that there is only one Exit 0 on the entire Interstate system covering the whole United States and there is only one of those. Exit 0 is located in Wheeling, WV on the westbound side of I-70 as you come out of the Wheeling Tunnel across the Fort Henry Bridge and it empties onto Wheeling Island on Zane Street. There is no eastbound Exit 0.

UPDATES as they become avaiable

There are numerous happenings in the Wheeling area for motorcyclists in particular. Check back here often for updates.

The Traveling Vietnam Memorial Wall will be in Moundsville, WV the weekend of August 23-26, 2012. Make time to travel down and check out this memorial to those who gave all for our freedom to asemble, participate, and ride with minimal restraint. This is open to the public and according to Moundsville City Development reports there is no charge for viewing this replica of the actual wall in D.C.

Vendor & Sponsor Info for this site and the River City Bike Week available at 304-312-1760 for Tony or 304-233-4555 for Jason.

Notifying Visitors of Site Enhancements

One of the many reasons for holding a motorcycle event is for camaraderie and friendship. These would be lost if there were not good relationships between the many motorcycle organizations gracing the Upper Ohio Valley and the surrounding states. The many groups represented by the colors and patches you might see at any given gathering in this area have performed numerous acts of graciousness and kindness throughout their histories.Should we be able we will try to link these groups and their respective websites through this page to show respect and honor to their efforts as both motorcyclists and fellow human beings.
